I've been listening to a lot of what has been described as 'organic ambient' music recently and have been turned on to a composer called Steve Roach. You could describe Steve's music as sprawling sonic atmospheres and textures. I enjoy listening to it when I'm thinking, editing landscape shots and when I go to sleep.

As well as the music, I also really like some of the more recent album covers such as 'Dynamic Stillness', 'Landmass' and 'New Life Dreaming' which are minimalistic and feature a dramatic landscape photo. I've made a homage to Steve Roach's albums using one of my own photos and wonder; if this was actually one of Steve's albums, what would it sound like?
