Things are quite busy at the moment, but I thought I had better take the time to get another post up here. The summer is looking to be quite an exciting time!
I'm organizing fashion shoots over the next few months to help add to my portfolio and try some new techniques. June is also going to see me shooting my first wedding. I'm still not 100% sure if wedding photography is an area I really want to expand into, so it will be a great opportunity to 'test the water' so to speak and I'm looking forward to seeing the results.
In the mean time, I'm working fulfilling orders for clients - my collage products are proving to be very popular as are my print-ready CDs. Also on the list is getting my Art Print Store online and trading, I had a setback with suppliers and trying to find the best framing options, but not too far off now - unfortunately it tends to get put on the back burner when things are busy.
It's our second year of growing veggies in the garden and the mix of rain and sun has really got the plants going. Most will be harvested in July to August, but my mixed salad leaves are ready to eat already - I'll have to plant some more.
On the subject of food, inspired by recipe books and supermarket magazines, I'm looking to experiment with food photography and create delectable shots of tasty dishes and ingredients. Watch this space!
