PerceptionHere is a creature you would not want to mess with. Large, powerful, aggressive... a born killer!
Reality Actually, this dog belongs to our friends and is called "Tug". He is a Newfoundland and is one of the softest dogs I have ever met. "They are known for their sweet dispositions, loyalty and natural water rescue tendencies... They are extremely loving and patient." - Wikipedia In this particular photo (top right) I fired off several frames while Tug was in a pond and barking. For a split second, invisible to the naked eye, he looks ferocious and frightening. Bottom right shows tug as he is most of the time - really soppy. This is just an example of how photographs can capture or fail to capture the true nature of something. An average photograph will capture a split second in time (1/200th of a second). Once again, it's all about the moment!
